Only Heaven Knows...

The death of our uncle came as a blow to us on Monday. Ironically, it was the birthday of my aunt on that fateful day.

Is life simply "falling" through a series of events? I mean, the birth of a new life soon sees the toddler growing up through childhood into teenage.

Then he or she matures into an adult and joins the working class upon graduation. One thing leads to another - tying the knot, starting the family and have kids.

Soon the kids grow up and start their own families. Suddenly the folks realize they only have each other to lean on...

Before one could enjoy the rest of the journey with the spouse, sickness and death will be lurking round the corner, robbing the happiness and lives of the aged parents.

Perhaps this is one way of God saying "I am in a better position to take care of his people'.
