That's Why (You Go Away)

For those who is reading my blog for the first time, I am currently pursuing a diploma in Mass Communications.

Unfortunately, our permanent lecturer had to discontinue the sessions due to conflict of priorities. Hence, a replacement was called in to resume the lessons. Unlike the first lecturer, the substitute, however, had difficulty imparting her knowledge to us on top of her frivolous attitude. Consequently, half of the class stopped showing up for her lessons.

The rest of us then decided to put our act together by lobbying to the school for a change of lecturer. Being successful in my first lobby for the other subject, I volunteered to forward the details of my lobby email to the new lobbyist. And the contents goes like this:

Dear Sir/Madam

For our unit, Public Relations, we have been informed that Ms K will be our permanent teacher for the the unit, Public Relations.

At the onset of the unit, Ms R has started teaching our classes for the first two lessons in view that Ms K is not available. In addition, she has handed out the assignment sheets to us and we had consulted her on our assignment topics respectively.

Given her media industry background, we have found her lessons inspiring and well-imparted with real life examples.

As such, we hope the school would consider Ms R to continue teaching the unit.

Thank you for your consideration and time.

Best regards,
Pfeiffer Chung

We are pleased to inform you that we have been able to accommodate to your request. Ms R will continue to teach the PR unit, with the exception of one the sessions as Ms R has already had previous engagement.

Should you need further clarification, do not hesitate to contact me again.
We wish you all the best for your study.

Before he could proceed, our replacement lecturer just announced today that it would be her last day lecturing the class due to health reasons. So guess the second lobby act will not materialize.

Now care to share your past lobby experience with me?
