Houston Rockets star, Yao Ming, recently made headlines by wedding his long term girlfriend recently. The ceremony included a banquet for 70 people and was held at a five star hotel in his home town.

Yao Ming who is 2.26m tall met his wife, Ye Li, a 1.90m tall basketball player, when he was just 17 while playing for the Shanghai sharks.

To avoid the media, it was reported that he hired 100 body guards to uphold his privacy on his wedding dau.

You were all thinking it, so let me just say it. Isn't it ironic that the number of security guards actually outnumber the guests? Inquiring minds want to know.

Guess this is the price one has to pay when you are one of the most successful sportsmen.
