Couldn't believe I was drawn to the dance floor when the DJ spun Abba song!

It all happened when we initiated a hen night for our bride-to-be friend at St James yesterday. For those who have not been to Singapore, the venue is home to the largest one-stop clubbing hub that offers nine distinct outlets, each with its individual theme, from world music and jazz to contemporary dance and mandarin-pop.

Not an avid clubber, I am perplexed why people enjoy drinking and suffer the side effects of hangover such as lying in the pool of own puke at the public toilet or being entangled in a fight.

I wish someone would invent a device (with buttons of the various hot clubs) that allows one to drink from the comfort of your home and dance to the music in a virtual clubbing environment depending on your mood.

I think that would be popular.
