I'll Be There For You

Caught Formula One (F1) Chinese Grand Prix on television with my friends this afternoon. I have to concur that teamwork counts at the critical moment. Especially when it makes a difference to both drivers and constructors championship standings in this penultimate race.

Near to the end of the race. Massa from Ferrari overtook Kimi to take the second position, compliments by his team-mate. Above all, the act was even sweeter when it was done on a mutual basis, not influenced by the team. Some may disagree that it is orchestrated by their team, but I choose to take it with the benefit of a doubt.

In this very competitive environment, it is good to see individuals working together in the interests of the team. Of course, everyone aspires to be the champion or lead the pack. My point is we can achieve more when we put aside our personal achievements, depending on the situation.
