Sunshine After The Rain

Hi all, apologies for the absence due to work and studies. Good news is I'm back now to share my happenings perpetually:)

To start things off with, I was hanging out with friends this afternoon. Guess what? We happened to pass by an umbrella vending machine, near my school. Feeling inquisitive, I "alerted" my friends to check out this quirky machine.

Frankly speaking, I do not think that the vending machine will be a reliable supply of cheap and fuss-free umbrellas for a number of reasons:

1) Never see anyone purchase umbrellas off this vending machine
2) Vending machine is almost non-existent, as most passerby do not even notice it
3) Sceptical over the quality of the umbrellas from such vending machine

Anyway, one of them decided to prove me wrong. To our astonishment, he fed a $10 note to the machine to purchase for $6 umbrella. All of us held our breath when he pressed on the purchase button. Seconds later, there was no sign of umbrella. Undeterred, another friend helped him to press on purchase button again. This time, we heard a loud clatter at the drop-off collection point of the machine.

The item was packaged in a white tennis ball look-alike can. All one has to do is to pull the lid off. Surprisingly, the umbrella turned out to be a decent one, fully wrapped in a plastic bag within the can:)

Wonder what's next to be marketed/sold from vending machines?
